Student Internships

KAPL offers opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical work experience related to their field of study. Programs are available in the following disciplines: electrical, mechanical, nuclear, civil and chemical engineering as well as materials and computer science.

Through the internship program you'll receive valuable work experience while making contributions on real business related projects. KAPL offers housing assistance, competitive wages and a curriculum of seminars and tours to broaden your experiences. Interns find their work both technically challenging and personally fulfiling. Many have chosen to launch their professional careers with KAPL.

Candidates for summer internship programs must submit a resume through LM Careers Job Search, including cumulative grade point average, by Nov. 30.

All candidates must be U.S. citizens. Applicants selected will be subject to a federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter.
