Employee Activities
KAPL encourages employees to support their community and participate in citizenship activities:
NewComers Club
- The initiative of the KAPL NewComers Club (NCC) is to attract and retain new employees by accommodating them in their transition to the laboratory and the community.
Heritage Program
- KAPL's Heritage Program provides new employees with an overview of our history and business culture giving them a more meaningful connection to our customers and our end products.
Matching Gift Program for Colleges and Universities
- After an employee has one year of continuous service, he or she may participate in this program.
Philanthropy
- The Lockheed Martin--KAPL, Inc. Philanthropy Program provides funding support to recognized activities in the non-profit fields of education, health & human services, cultural activities and civic affairs. Applications must be submitted online by the Jan. 31 deadline for consideration.
YMCA/Health Club Membership Incentive Program
- Discounts are available for membership in certain health clubs to encourage employees and their families to become more health conscious and to reinforce the role of physical fitness.
Kermis Club Membership
- Membership is free and provides for recreational and social opportunities for employees, pensioners and their families.
- Employees are automatically enrolled as members upon employment and membership continues after retirement.
